Examples of Graffiti

The artist for this graffiti art is unknown. The Joker is a popularized character in Batman and was featured in the 2008 film The Dark Knight and was portrayed by Heath Leger. He was a villain who went against the system and wanted to corrupt anything helping it. Viewers seen this and use him as a face for them being against the government and what is going on like wars and other issues that they feel the government should of kept away from.

This is another piece done by an anonymous group. When George W. Bush was in power in the United States, people thought that the acts he was doing was not right. They felt that he was an unfit president and was letting the middle and low class of the United States fall before him. They thought he completely disregarded them and only cared about the ones who were bigger contributions the government. They also felt that he was not a man of peace and was ready to start a war with any country that had resources that Bush thought America needed.

This final piece is also by an unknown artist. It is a representation of what has been going on in Northern Ireland for many years. Britain has occupied Northern Ireland and made it part of them and small militia forces formed together and formed the IRA (Irish Republican Army) to rebel against the British in order to gain control of Northern Ireland once again. They have been known to do some cruel and unusual things and have now been considered terrorist but they still want to regain power over Northern Ireland. Many natives to Ireland have backed the IRA but don't engage in war being waged. Instead they express their opinions in art and one example is graffiti. This one shows what IRA stands for but it has gotten questionable over the years.
